The planet does not need more successful people. The planet desperately needs more peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers and lovers of all kinds

Signs of being a wreck

Cleaning, actually cleaning. Binge watching old tv shows that are upbeat and peppy to the point when your exhausted but you just put the next one on because you don’t want to face falling asleep. Being numb, wanting to cry at everything without knowing why but all you get is a slow tear that stains your pillow with the day’s make up because you don’t even feel the need to wipe it off the end of your nose, the side of your cheek. Thinking about washing and then thinking fuck it who needs clean clothes anyway. Despite loving your job not wanting anything to do with it. Unplugging your straightener because your appearance matters less now somehow - I guess that goes with the washing thing. Knowing the you will be semi conscious all night and the only way to avoid it is by being so tried you pass out. Texting someone a last ditch effort and then writing a post like this to fill in the wait time, only to get to the end and feel just the same as before. Maybe this is enough for me to pass out now..

Deep in her soul, however, she was waiting for something to happen. Like a sailor in distress, she would gaze out over the solitude of her life with desperate eyes, seeking some white sail in the mists of the far off horizon.
